Family friendly fun is an important part of Marina Inn in Myrtle Beach! Families return each year for our summer Kids Rule! program where Kids Stay, Play and Eat Free all Summer Long.

STAY….

We don’t charge additional fees for children under 17 traveling with their family. With our spacious 2 & 3 bedroom suites,  kids have a lot of room to do….well…. kid stuff!   Like gathering in the living space and watching a movie, spreading out the seashells gathered from the beach across the kitchen table, gather with the family for a meal, claim one of the large bathrooms as your own for the week or, dare we say….pillow fight??

PLAY….

The Kids Rule Zone is a great way for your kids make new friends while they enjoy playing fun games and participate in various group activities offering a variety of kids activities for ages 5+.  The Kids Program is available daily with various games daily beginning at 10 AM and ending at 4 PM. Here are just a few of all the awesome ones we have to offer…

Almost everyone is familiar with the childhood game of limbo! This friendly, competitive game tests to see just how low you can go! The bar starts off at a tall height and gradually gets lower until only one person is left that can make it under. This is a great way to test your flexibility and have some fun while you’re at it.

There’s not much better of a way to cool off than with a water balloon toss! Find a buddy and see who has the better catch. You’ll start off close together and then slowly back up until someone drops the balloon, soaking that person in water. You and your partner will both get a good laugh!

Putting a spin on tag, Marco Polo is a great way to stay entertained on a pool day! You’ll pick to be either Marco or Polo and then the game begins. There will only be one Marco and several Polo’s. Whoever is Marco will call out the name Polo, with their eyes closed, and vice versa. Marco then has to wander the pool and try to tag the players that are Polo, who get to keep their eyes open. This game will provide endless entertainment!

If your kids are looking for a way to just hang out and relax then the arts and crafts activities are for them! They can use different types of paints, markers, and textures to design whatever they feel like. This gives them an opportunity to show their creative side while also making something they can take home and keep as a memory!

Hula hooping is a past time that I’m sure even your parents took part in! Whether they’ve done it before or are just learning, your kids can figure out how to do cool tricks and twirl their hoop around their waist or even try to use their arms, legs, and neck! They’re sure to have fun with their friends trying to see who can outdo the other!

EAT….
