This prestigious award recognizes excellence in service and amenities among meeting facilities in the U.S. Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. The Marina Inn is the only hotel in Myrtle Beach to receive this award and one of two hotels in SC to receive this award.

In the “Visitors Category” the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes won first place in these categories: “Hotel for Couples”, “Hotel for Families” and “Hotel for Golf Packages” and was a finalist in “Hotel Overall”. In the “Locals Category, readers voted the “Resort Club at Grande Dunes’ as a finalist for “Best Golf Course” and in the “Visitors Category” voted “Resort Club at Grande Dunes” as a finalist for both the “Golf Course with the Toughest Hole” and “Best Golf Course Overall”
WaterScapes Restaurant, the casual fine dining restaurant within Myrtle Beach, S.C.'s Marina Inn at Grande Dunes, has received the 2010 Santé Culinary Hospitality Award from Santé, the Magazine for Restaurant Professionals in the “Sustainability Category for the Southeast Division of the United States”. Of all categories, it is the only business in the Carolinas to be recognized among the list of winners.
